International Woodworking and Furniture Supplier Magazines’ Association, FSM realized its annual meeting during INTERZUM 2011

2011 OFFICIAL MEETING

Members of FSM, which stands for “International Woodworking and Furniture Supplier Magazines Association” which was established with the aim of providing actual and healthy information flow between world markets and ensuring professional solidarity among related publications, held their official annual meeting by gathering in Cologne, Germany during the INTERZUM Fair under the sponsorship of Koelnmesse on May 25, 2011.

FSM Members will Meet in Cologne at 25 May for their 2011 Annual Meeting

The next yearly meeting of FSM will be held in Cologne, Germany during interzum 2011 trade fair by the sponsorship of Koelnmesse and with the participations of 26 members and acquired members who invited there.

During the meeting that will be held in the first day of Interzum 2011 that is Wednesday 25 May at 13.00 PM in

Congress Centre North, Rheinsaal Sektion 4,

all FSM members will come together to discuss the topics on the agenda. After the meeting, around

there will be a special dinner in a modern brewhouse near the Rhine.

FSM members are cooperating for a special event: "Buliding With Wood Seminar"

For the first time EWI ,the European Wood Initiative (organizing body proHolz Austria) will host a seminar about modern and sustainable solutions for building with wood in Istanbul, Turkey. With the cooperation of 2 FSM members, the one from Greece and Turkey. During the event where an FSM booth will be present to display the member magazines, Epipleon (Greece), Mobilya (Turkey) and Holz Kurier (Austria) will be represented. During the event where 10 speakers will make some presentations about sustainability of wood, European wood industries, building with wood in Mediterranean countries etc. It is expected that more than 300 selected designers, architects and engineers will be there as well as well known 25 Turkish and European companies that will be presented with a booth.

FSM Board met in Cologne

During imm Cologne trade fair held in Cologne, FSM Board met again. In this third meeting realized after Istanbul and Pordenone, the representatives of FSM Board members Zeki Yucel (President-Turkey) Luca Rosetti (Vice President-Italy) Richard Barth (Member-Germany) and Camila Gino (Member-Brazil) were present and discussed about several topics.

“Industrialization and Specialized Press” Panel held in Istanbul, during IMOB 2011

During the famous Turkish Furniture Trade Fair IMOB 2011 organized by MOSDER (Turkish Furniture Industrialists Association ) a couple of events were realized. One of them was a panel co-organized by MOBSAD (Furniture Industrialists and Businessmen Association) and SEYAD (Turkish Sectoral Publishers Association) where the relationship between the industry and B2B publications are discussed under the headline of “Industrialization and Specialized Press”.
